Jerry says, referring to the song he hears on the radio, “Sometimes I stay away from the radio altogether — just so I don’t have to feel it.” Are there things in your own life – songs, movies, photos, etc. – that at times you avoid because they remind you of something? If so, why do you think there are such powerful associations between such things and our memories? Are there moments when it’s easier or harder to see or hear them?
